Concert: Skunk Anansie¶
That was the second time I’ve been to a concert of Skunk Anansie and after the great opening they’ve showed last time, my expectations were quite high.
I was almost afraid it could have been impossible to fulfill - but not for Skunk Anansie.
But first I had to loose my paper tickets on the way to the concert. And I haven’t eaten. Two things that needed to be fixed before the concert started. It looked like that was actually a bad day for going out…
The opening wasn’t that explosive as the last time (you should really try the link above, if you haven’t yet. You have? - well, then read on:)
But it was still energetic and the band didn’t let the band to the fans drop to the floor, no way. Half way through the set list the room was already cooking (quite rare, if you ask me) and at the end everybody agreed this was a fucking brilliant concert.
After two hours of straight playing and two encores, they deserved to call it a day.
I’ve rarely seen so much stage-diving, laughing and fun while playing in one concert (usually it’s all beside the stage-diving.) They cave the stage guards a hard time by just going down into the crowd and sitting down there or by _sailing_ over to the sound-technicians and back. In total: That’s as good as it can get in a rock-concert in a crowded space like Sentrum Scene.
