Devics/Push the heart¶
Since I skipped last week with a post, this Wednesday’s one shall compensate for the missing one. Devics are are kind of all time favourite. If I don’t know what to listen to, this one helps me to find out.
I need to go at least once through their album Push the heart once every two weeks - well in order to push my heart or so.
This group from Los Angeles left back in 2005/2006 a great album, which really doesn’t show up any more. I haven’t heard their songs out of my play-list at all. And the Band doesn’t seem to tour. Their official Website doesn’t show much, but you find stuff on MySpace. It’s a pity that I’ve discovered them so late, not a chance for a concert.
But maybe it’s OK the way it is. One really great album - that makes it a kind of special. How special? Well, I’m not sure where to put them, meaning in which music category. It’s a bit melancholy, but not sad. It tends towards MEW, but is not that complex. Their music has their own beauty and it took me at least to times listening to the album for getting hooked.
