Back. And tired. That was nice. We went on a kayak-trip. First three hours of training the day before and the day after on a 30km trip.

We only managed two thirds of it in roughly six hours, but that was more than enough.

We tried to get from Herøy to Vandve which is about 30km in distance. But this ambiguous goal should be postponed to next year.

Navigating between these trillions of islands looks like a art of its own. The number of islands is that hight, that it looks more like you’re on a canal or something instead of the sea and every couple of hundred of meters there’s a new island. Try to find the right one

Besides that we weren’t that lucky with the weather and started in the rain (it became better afterwards) in the late afternoon wind came up and we faced the tide, wind and higher waves. For the first time that’s enough to make you stop and call you backup-plan to come and pick you up for the rest of the way.

Safely home it didn’t took long to fall asleep. And - oh wonder - next day I wasn’t ready for anything at all. Not that my muscles or anything hurt so badly, it was more like the whole body was exhausted and decided that this day should be the day for doing nothing.

No we need to find a place in Oslo where to store two Kayaks permanently for an affordable price close to the Fjord. Anyone?
