Right next to Oslo S, a bit hidden under som bridges are the images of some artists who painted some quite infamous but very beautiful portraits right in the middle of the city center.

These images are right next to each other and you only see them when you’re directly passing by and paying a bit attention to them. They’re easily to miss. What makes them so special is, that despite all the tagging (which is to graffiti what pissing into the corner is) they’ve still managed to survive and not being destroyed by some stupid kid. They’ve been there quite a while and every once in a while when I pass them, I’m always happy about that they’re still there. The architecture creates some frames for them, so it’s hard to tell if they’ve been there since the beginning or just ingeniously used to fill up the gaps in the concrete.

The last image actually shows that the tagging-hits are coming closer and have almost reached the portraits. I guess it’s just a matter of time.
