Oil

Oiling

Winter is coming. And the cheap, wooden squared plates on the balcony should probably be moved. I’ll try this year to see what a bit of oil can actually do.

So I bought a bit of wood oil and spent the last two days outside with a brush and kept going on these little fuckers.

It’s a mess. So be prepared to cover the ground with paper or foil to prevent oil leaking everywhere. Take everything you need with out. You shouldn’t even thinking about opening a door afterwards - unless you want to leave some marks on it.

I didn’t need as much oil as I thought. The 2.5 liters are way more than I used. For the 8sqm probably one liter would have been sufficient.

Currently the rest of the stack is trying to try as best as possible in this cold weather. I’m not sure yet if I should take all of it in or leave it cover standing outside under the roof. I guess that should be fine…
