Sundays

Now, after all the work has been completed, being back at work doesn’t feel as such. I realized it already during last week. Leaving to work was far more relaxing and motivating than being at home and doing all the renovation stuff. This feeling still goes on.

Since now there’s not much work to do at home, I’m getting the benefit of both worlds. Relaxing at work and relaxing at home. Life could be worse.

Everything is still quite new and doesn’t feel like _home_ yet. I’m sure this will come over time. There are currently two things that still surprise me. One is the power the new stove has. The espresso maker is done in about 89 seconds. I can’t even get the milk from the microwave oven in that time.

The other thing is this car outside. The car alarm fired off last night about three times in a row. Not used to having a car myself there was quite a confusion if I could switch off this alarm or not. Turns out: I can’t. But I can use the car keys from the balcony. *beep* *beep*
