Tool/Ænima

Tool/Ænima

The last two weeks I found myself listening more and more to the Tool 1996’s album Ænima. Not sure why of a sudden I turn back to there. Maybe the past months where a bit too soft. Or I’m simply missing the good old times. I’m basically going back and forth between Tool and Skunk Anansi.

Tool however has always been somewhere. And I’m happy they haven’t stopped making music yet. And that’s a perfect companion for work and for getting shit done.

A new album is on it’s way and will be available end of this year or the beginning of next year.

When going through the history of the last album you can see the change between this album from 1996 and the next one a decade later in 2006, 10.000 days. That made it a bit hard to chose one over the other, but be assured: the gap between them is millimeters thin.

I really hope they’re getting up to speed again. And even might start another tour? Who knows? It probably is allowed to dream a bit, isn’t it?
