Daughter/4ad session¶
I am still here. And I am still listening to music. Lately there was not much good music. I passed a couple of albums and even wondered once or twice if I should put them up here. But at the end they did not strike me too special, not being too good as I would see them fit here. On the other hand - this changed today. Just by accident I was watch a commercial that promised to be mind-blowing. To make it short: it wasn’t. Something about the current war in Syria. But at the end of the video somebody has put a song, that made me curious.
Luckily they put the name of the song into the credits. Youth from the London base group Daughter.
The quick background check revealed the for me typical quality signs:
Not many albums out there, but a few singles.
They just played a couple of weeks ago in my city to make sure they don’t have to come back too soon again. It will take a while until I can see them life. Perfect. :/
Just ignoring this as usual I will have to spend the time until then with the albums. It did not take much to convince me to buy their current album If you Leave.
Dammit - how could I miss them?
