Joan as police woman/The deep field

Joan Wasser or also known as Joan as Police Woman is an American musician. During the last weeks when only few updates came pouring in here, her albums where playing back and forth in my playlist. Since a couple of days she got replaced, but I think she deserves a memo here.

I have, of course, already forgotten where and why I found here. As usual and I am <strike>really</strike> sorry. Her music started as it often does only in the background. Being busy with other things. After a couple of songs the playlist reached “Run for love” and this song clearly gets the background music into the foreground. A quiet start gets the overtaken by the strong finale. There, right there it crossed the line into the light of being noteworthy.

Joan Wasser plays a mix between easy Jazz, Leonard Cohen and Florence and the machine.
