Coffee machine

For a couple of months now I was looking into what Coffee-machine to buy. I liked to have either a Rancilio Silvia or a Lelit PL 41 PLUST. I would have gone for the last one, I think.

At the end I decided not to buy one. They make probably good coffee, for sure. And just having them and playing around with them and the whole procedure of making the coffee is just so nice.

One of the main selling arguments I found was the coffee tastes great. Well, coffee to me tastes OK. I prefer it with milk and maybe some sweetener (like Honey or so). So there’s actually a different taste than the coffee taste that I prefer.

The whole procedure of Coffee-making seems too complex to me in comparison of what I want to achieve. Considering that I get to the same result (Me being happy with what I drink) with my Bialetti on the cooking-top. I realised I appreciate more the process of making the coffee than actually the taste or the machine I use.

One part that is currently missing is that I ran out of coffee-beans and had to buy already grinned material. Milling the beans is a very satisfying part of the process (like destroying something generally is). So I bought 5kg oversea and I am waiting now for arrival. Even with a more sophisticated coffee-machine I had to buy coffee. Let’s see how that turns out.
