Skunk Anansie/Black traffic

I wasn’t expecting that. When Skunk Anansie mentioned on their last concert that they had a new album out, I was a bit sceptical. I grew up with a Post Orgasmic Chill and couldn’t imaging that something like that could ever come out again. For me, their history has been written already.

I was so wrong…

Just out of curiosity I checked out the Black traffic, ready for a disappointment. But, man, how could I not know? I mean, both concerts have left me with no regret of getting the tickets like seven months in advance. The show was fantastic both times, an excellence performance. Somebody performing on that level and with that experience must have some foundations and basics to build on.

These are the same foundations that bring out the new albums every know and then. Sure, I’ve skipped some albums in the meantime, I guess. But the step from 1999 to 2012 is easily possible, no remorse…
